由郭锡恩先生和胡如珊女士于2004年共同创立的如恩设计研究室(Neri&Hu)，是一家立足于中国上海，在英国伦敦设有分办公室的多元化建筑设计研究室。如恩设计提供国际化的建筑、室内、整体规划、平面以及产品设计服务。公司目前的项目分布在很多不同的国家，拥有来自全世界各地的员工，使用超过30种语言。不同文化背景组成了如恩的设计团队，正是团队的差异独特性增强了我们的设计理念：以全球化的观念结合多元、重叠的设计理念来创造一个新的建筑范例。

Founded in 2004 by partners Lyndon Neri and Rossana Hu, Neri&Hu Design and Research Office is an inter-disciplinary architectural design practice based in Shanghai, China with an additional office in London, UK. Neri&Hu works internationally providing architecture, interior, master planning, graphic, and product design services. Currently working on projects in many countries, Neri&Hu is composed of multi-cultural staff who speak over 30 different languages. The diversity of the team reinforces a core vision for the practice: to respond to a global worldview incorporating overlapping design disciplines for a new paradigm in architecture.

Neri&Hu始终认为研究是设计的一种有力工具，因为每个项目都具备有其特有的背景。对规划运作、地点、功能和历史等进行细致深入的研究是创造严谨作品不可或缺的要素。在研究的基础上，Neri&Hu致力于建筑与经验、细节、材料、形状及灯光的积极互动，而不是单纯地遵照模式化刻板风格。每个项目背后的最终成功之处都是通过建筑本身外观形象所体现出来的意义而得到淋漓尽致的体现。

Neri&Hu believes strongly in research as a design tool, as each project bears its unique set of contextual issues. A critical probing into the specificities of program, site, function, and history is essential to the creation of rigorous design work. Based on research, Neri&Hu desires to anchor its work on the dynamic interaction of experience, detail, material, form, and light rather than conforming to a formulaic style. The ultimate significance behind each project comes from how the built forms create meaning through their physical representations.

2018年，如恩荣获意大利The PLAN Award建筑设计大奖年度总冠军；2017年，郭锡恩先生和胡如珊女士被EDIDA国际设计大奖评选为年度设计师，被德国设计协会评选为年度室内设计师；2015年，被巴黎家居装饰博览会评选为亚洲年度设计师；2014年，被英国墙纸杂志(Wallpaper*)评选为年度设计师，同年获得WAF世界建筑节大奖；2013年，郭锡恩先生和胡如珊女士入选美国《室内设计》名人堂；如恩设计研究室荣获2011年INSIDE设计节大奖；2010年度英国建筑评论杂志AR新锐建筑奖及美国建筑实录杂志2009年度世界十大设计先锋之一；2006年，郭锡恩先生被美国I.D. 杂志评选为年度最值得关注的40名设计师之一。

In 2018, Neri&Hu was honored with the annual championship of The PLAN Award, an architectural design award in Italy. In 2017, Mr. Lyndon Neri and Ms. Rossana Hu were named Designers of the Year by the EDIDA International Design Awards and Interior Designers of the Year by the German Design Association. In 2015, they were selected as the Asian Designers of the Year by the Maison&Objet Asia exhibition in Paris. In 2014, they were named Designers of the Year by Wallpaper* magazine and also received the World Architecture Festival (WAF) Award in the same year. In 2013, Mr. Lyndon Neri and Ms. Rossana Hu were inducted into the Interior Design Hall of Fame in the United States. Neri&Hu Design and Research Office won the INSIDE Festival Award in 2011. They received the AR Emerging Architecture Award in 2010 from the Architectural Review magazine and were recognized as one of the world's top ten design pioneers by Architectural Record magazine in 2009. In 2006, Mr. Lyndon Neri was selected as one of the 40 designers worth watching by I.D. magazine in the United States.

郭锡恩先生毕业于加州大学伯克利分校，获建筑学学士学位；之后又在哈佛大学设计研究生院(GSD)取得了建筑学硕士学位。在创立如恩设计研究室之前，他在普林斯顿的迈克尔•格雷夫斯建筑事务所(Michael Graves Architects and Associates)任亚洲区项目总监一职十余年之久，并在纽约多家知名的建筑公司任职。

Mr. Lyndon Neri graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with a Bachelor's degree in Architecture. He later obtained a Master's degree in Architecture from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design (GSD). Prior to founding Neri&Hu Design and Research Office, he served as the Director of Asian Projects at Michael Graves Architects and Associates in Princeton for over a decade and worked for several renowned architecture firms in New York.

胡如珊女士毕业于加州大学伯克利分校，获建筑学学士学位；之后又获得普林斯顿大学建筑及城市规划硕士学位。在与郭锡恩先生创立如恩设计研究室前，胡如珊女士曾任职于迈克尔•格雷夫斯(Michael Graves Architects and Associates)，普林斯顿的Ralph Lerner Architect PC，纽约的Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM) 以及旧金山的The Architects Collaborative (TAC) 等著名建筑公司。

Ms. Rossana Hu graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with a Bachelor's degree in Architecture. She then obtained a Master's degree in Architecture and Urban Planning from Princeton University. Prior to co-founding Neri&Hu Design and Research Office, Ms. Hu worked at renowned architecture firms including Michael Graves Architects and Associates, Ralph Lerner Architect PC in Princeton, Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM) in New York, and The Architects Collaborative (TAC) in San Francisco.
